Run by volunteers for the benefit of our village, we provide everyday essentials, locally-sourced produce, and a friendly place to connect. Whether you’re popping in for milk, posting a parcel, or picking up fresh bread, you’ll always receive a warm welcome.

When our village shop faced closure, residents came together to create something special: a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society, run by volunteers and owned by the people of Westbury-sub-Mendip.

We’re more than just a shop – we’re a hub for the village. By shopping here, you support local producers, reduce the need to travel, and help keep vital services like the Post Office at the heart of our community.

Every penny of profit goes back into improving the shop and supporting local needs.

Please ask if you think you could spare a little time to help in the shop, even an hour a week is really valuable.

Our shop is only possible thanks to volunteers who give their time to serve customers, stock shelves, manage deliveries, and even water the garden.
